THE BALMAIN FALL 2022 CAMPAIGN
FALL/WINTER 2022-2023
Shot in a sand-filled quarry outside London, the striking campaign interprets Olivier runway messages of hope, empathy and progress.
Focusing on a striking graphic selection of Olivier Rousteing’s strongest black and white designs for the season, the house’s campaign for the Fall 2022 collections, was shot inside the deep pit of a quarry filled with beige-colored sand. An eye-catching focus was created in the middle of the desert-like ambiance, with a cool, green and pool-like space providing a welcome contrast to the arid environment.
Stylists Charlotte Stockdale and Katie Lyall worked closely with photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott to interpret Olivier Rousteing’s powerful runway message of hope, which centered on the need to rely on knowledge, honesty and transparency, in order to collectively push back against lies, hate and aggression.
